Safari Overview

The Shared All-Inclusive Morning Safari is designed for solo travelers, couples, and small groups who want the premium "all-inclusive" experience without the cost of a private jeep. By sharing the vehicle with a maximum of five other explorers, you benefit from a reduced rate while still enjoying full service, including entrance tickets and a picnic breakfast. This tour follows the exact same high-standard tracking protocols as our private tours. You will enter the park at sunrise to search for the Sri Lankan Leopard and Sloth Bear, led by a professional tracker who ensures everyone in the vehicle has a great view and a memorable encounter.

Pickup from your hotel in Tissamaharama or Kirinda. You will meet your fellow safari-mates and start the journey to the gate.

Arrival at the Gate

We join the morning queue at the Palatupana (Block 1) entrance.

The Morning Hunt

As the park opens, we spend the first few hours tracking the big cats and bears during their most active period.

08:30 AM

Social Picnic Breakfast

We stop at the Patanangala Beach or Manik River. This is a great time to swap stories and photos with your fellow travelers over a fresh breakfast.

09:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Lagoon Exploration

We visit the waterholes to spot crocodiles, deer, and diverse birdlife.

Drop-off

Return to your hotel after a morning of discovery.
