Agreement & Conduct

Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. By booking a safari with Yala Wild Leopard, you agree to the following guidelines and legal frameworks.

1. Safety & Conduct

Your safety and the welfare of Yala's wildlife are our highest priorities. All participants must:

  • Follow all instructions provided by your driver-tracker and naturalist guide without exception.
  • Remain within the designated safety zones of the safari vehicle while inside the National Park.
  • Maintain silence and avoid sudden movements when in the vicinity of wildlife.
  • Strictly adhere to the park's "No Littering" and "No Flash Photography" regulations.

The operator reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed disruptive or dangerous to themselves, others, or the wildlife.

2. Acceptance of Risk

Wildlife safaris involve inherent risks, including but not limited to travel on rugged terrain and encounters with wild animals in their natural habitat.

By booking with Yala Wild Leopard, participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the activity. We strongly recommend that all guests maintain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal property loss.

3. Liability

Yala Wild Leopard, its guides, and contractors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from participation in the safari, except in cases of proven gross negligence.

Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the specific safari booking in question.

4. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
